February 2010 Job of the Month: TAYLOR BATTERY – 100 WALTER DAVIS DRIVE – BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA:

Superior Services R.S.H., Inc. recently completed a Duro-Shield installation in Birmingham, Alabama.  It was a nice break from winter installations for the Michigan crew.  The new system installed was a retrofit over an existing standing seam metal roof.

First, an Isocynurate infill was placed in between the metal ribs, followed by a layer of 1 1/2″ Isocynurate insulation.  The added insulation, along with the highly reflective Duro-Last membrane can be expected to result in a substantially cooler warehouse environment.

Along with the new roof system, new two-part edge metal and gutters were installed.  Total installation time was three days.
