Consumers should take note that significant changes have recently been enacted concerning favorable tax incentives. Tax credits have been raised from 10% to 30%. Maximum credits have been raised from $500 to $1,500. These credits apply to specific improvements and criteria. We recommend you contact your tax professional for an accurate interpretation.

Improvements for certain types of windows, skylights, metal roofs, asphalt roofs, and insulation may qualify. Most notably, some of the new Solar Energy Systems, Photovoltaic Systems and Geothermal qualify for a 30% of Cost Tax Credit. Many homeowners and businesses alike stand to gain substantial savings for the installation of these products, not to mention the positive effect on our environment and their utility expenses. Recommended Site: www.energystar.gov
