Commercial Roofing Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you’ll be the office-side owner of assigned commercial roofing projects from turnover through closeout. You’ll make sure scope, materials, schedules, costs, documentation, and project requirements are coordinated so our field teams can focus on safe, productive, high-quality execution.

What You’ll Do

• Own your projects from turnover through closeout, keeping the scope, schedule, costs, materials, and documentation organized and on track.
• Plan ahead for the field, making sure approved materials, information, submittals, and other project requirements are ready when they’re needed.
• Manage the project details, including takeoffs, purchasing, submittals, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and closeout requirements.
• Keep projects financially on track by understanding the estimate, monitoring costs, identifying variances, and making sure changes and additional work are properly documented.
• Coordinate across the project team, working closely with Operations, Field Superintendents, customers, general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep projects moving.

What You Bring

• Experience managing commercial construction projects from turnover through completion
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, estimates, and contracts
• The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities without losing track of the details
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills—you anticipate what the project will need instead of waiting for problems to happen
• Comfort working with project budgets, purchasing, change orders, and cost tracking
• Clear, professional communication with field teams, customers, general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• A collaborative approach and the judgment to know what you can own and what needs to be escalated
• Commercial roofing experience is preferred, but strong commercial construction project management experience is also valuable

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $75,000–$95,000 per year, plus performance bonuses

Schedule: Full-time, day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Location: On-site in either Grand Rapids, MI or Lansing, MI
